"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." -Mark 16:15

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ has paid the penalty for the sins of mankind by being executed in their place and then raised from the dead. He now lives to give eternal life to those who believe in him, thus bringing them to God.

Jesus Christ himself began this Mission of preaching the good news of the gospel to all creation while he was on earth. Right before he went back to heaven he commissioned everyone who believes in him to continue proclaiming  that message to the whole world. 2000 years later, the message has still not reached every  nation, tribe and tongue. Many call this mission "The Great Commission".

The motivation for the Mission is God's love for mankind. He desires that every human being be as joyously happy as they possibly can be. Since He created  human beings, he knows what will make us happy. We must worship him, by acknowledging that he is supremely valuable, being more enjoyable and satisfying than anything else. When we worship him, he is glorified, which is his ultimate purpose in everything he does.

"The people whom I formed for myself, will declare My praise." Isaiah 43:21

The completion of the Mission It is the mission of every Christian to proclaim that God himself is the ultimate source of happiness to every people group in this world. Though 2000 years have passed since Jesus' followers were given this task, it has not been completed. Millions of people have never even heard of Jesus Christ. Most of these people live impoverished lives within an area of the earth known as the 10/40 window

The 10/40 Window is a  rectangular area of the globe including North Africa, the Middle East and Asia between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude. 95 percent of the world's least-evangelized people live in this area.
